Job Description

We are seeking a Business Development Manager, based in Vietnam, with Mobile Messaging, Cloud Services, or Technology experience. This role suits an independent hunter, with working contacts in local or regional Banks, Finance and Insurance, eCommerce, and Logistics business.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the generation and development of both inbound and outbound new business opportunities. The successful candidate will be a consummate and credible sales professional managing the Wavecell mobile messaging services to Mobile Aggregators, Enterprises and Application developers. This role is focused on new business acquisition (both local and overseas).

Develop new business relationships, generate and negotiate new business for Wavecell to an agreed annual revenue target, to increase year on year.
Actively and successfully manage the entire sales process.
Managing and develop the sales pipeline, ensuring all sales administration is kept up to date.
Responding to tenders and requests for information in a timely manner.
Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts and any further documentation.
Possess drive, motivation and acute attention to detail in ensuring all sales opportunities to Wavecell are captured and explored.
The candidate will have individual responsibility for new business, and is expected to self manage, however, he/she will have support from the managing and sales director for complex large pitches and strategies.

3+ years of sales experience in the mobile or internet industry with at least 2 years experience in a field facing role. Previous experience in the mobile messaging industry is highly beneficial.
Fluent in spoken and written English, and Vietnamese would be required.
Good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills with strong selling and sales aptitude.
Strong sense of responsibility, initiative and commitment.
Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
Resourceful, strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and cope with tight deadline.
Excellent people skills to establish a good rapport with customers.
A team player with excellent personal relationship skills.
